My name is Shariyah, and I am a New Zealand based self-taught artist (and cook!) who loves whole & natural foods, healthy living, art, going on adventures, taking pictures and of course – cooking! I’ve read so many health and diet books over the years, and have gained some very valuable knowledge around health and nutrition, but today I don’t follow any certain “diet”. However, I have learned that I feel my healthiest when eating fresh, unprocessed foods and clean wholesome meals free from gluten, grains, sugar, and dairy works for me.
The Artists Plate is where you will find my personal recipes, as well as recipes from other ‘bloggers’ that I’ve adapted. I’ve categorized my recipes by dietary requirements as well as by dish so that you can easily find recipes that will suit your personal needs (i.e.; if you are following a strict Paleo, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, or Sugar-Free type diet).
